Dear JET Friends and Partners, There is so much to celebrate this summer. We are delighted to share that this year, 10 JET Scholars – Eva, Annmarie, Danielle, Juanita, Christine, Kaitlyn, Kiara, Linda, Mckayla, and Eileen – graduated with their bachelor’s degrees, marking the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication! We loved celebrating their achievements at our End-of-Year Celebration on Zoom on June 25th. Other Scholar achievements from this semester include: “I recently walked during commencement at UMass Boston. It was a great feeling.” “I graduated on May 18 with my associate’s degree.” “I received my bachelor’s degree with a 3.77 GPA, working two jobs with a family of 5.” “I made the Chancellor’s list Spring 2024, and maintained straight As for spring.”
We are also grateful to share that JET has been recognized as a recipient of the Congressionally Funded Community Projects Grant for FY 25, as well as an awardee of the DESE Diversifying the Educator Workforce Grant.
