Dear JET Friends and Partners, I am thrilled to announce that I'll be handing over leadership of JET to our two program managers, who will be Co-Directors before month's end. I have been able to get core infrastructure in place for this nascent non-profit, and lift up two phenomenal women leaders of color who are so ready to take the next important steps to implement JET’s sharpened mission and emerging strategic plan. We lift and rise together... You will be working with Jazmine Benoit and Romie Robertson moving forward. I'm proud of the work we have accomplished together, and thrilled to see them shine in this next leg of the org's development. Please join me in welcoming them! While some of my next steps are to be announced, I have my hands full completing my doctoral dissertation focused on women superintendents of color leading through the pandemic, teaching future teachers at BU, and launching a podcast with two other incredible diasporic women education leaders later this spring.
