Recruitment and Onboarding Journey

Step 1: December - March

APPLICATION OPEN

Submit online application form
Include a written personal statement
Submit a letter of recommendation

PREPARATION

Apply for FAFSA (Free Application for Student Financial Aid)
Submit pre-onboarding baseline survey
Attend college information sessions
Apply for colleges

Step 3: April - May

DECISION

Apply for the MA Paraprofessional Teacher Preparation (MAPTP) Grant
Enroll in college

Step 4: June - August

INITIATION

Enroll in fall semester courses
Get paired with a district mentor
Attend JET End-of-Year Meeting
Attend August Orientation with assigned mentor
